IS THIS CONSIDERED A TATTOO?
Yes, this procedure is considered a tattoo. This is important to note for medical & religious reasons.

However as we do not deposit the pigment as deep as a traditional tattoo, it is technically referred to as a semi-permanent tattoo.

IS IT PAINFUL?
There will be some sensitivity during the procedure but it's totally bearable (and worth it!).

We use a primary numbing cream, as well as a secondary liquid anesthetic to keep the area as numb as possible throughout the process.

We do recommend not having this procedure done during your period as we are naturally more sensitive to pain during that time.

IS IT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?
Unfortunately not.

Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, on certain chronic medications and with some medical conditions may not be good candidates for microblading specifically, or for brow micropigmentation entirely.

We go  before the appointment is confirmed with our booking info (see Booking Info tab).

WHICH TECHNIQUE SHOULD I BOOK FOR?

Your appointment includes a full consult. We will discuss the different options, assess your natural brows & skin type, and then decide which technique would most suit you & your preferences.

It is important to note that Powder Brows are most suited for most clients & skin types as it lasts longer & retains best on most skin types.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE ТАКЕ?
Your first session is about 2.5 hours and consists of 3 parts:
1) waiting with your numbing cream on for 30 minutes,
2) the consultation process: this includes the shaping, drawing & mapping process,
3) the actual tattooing process which is about 1 hour or so.

The 6 week touch-up takes about 1.5 - 2 hours.

WHY IS A 6 WEEK TOUCH-UP NECESSARY?
As this is a semi-permanent tattoo, there will be some pigment loss after the first session. This is completely normal.

The 6 week touch-up reinforces the existing pigment, fills in any gaps and any desired adjustments will also be made during this appointment.

After this appointment you will only need annual touch-ups to maintain your brows.

HOW LONG IS THE HEALING PROCESS?
The initial (and 'visible') healing phase is about 1 week. You will be given detailed aftercare instructions to tollow to ensure hygienic healing & optimal pigment retention.

The full healing phase is about 5-6 weeks.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
After your 6 week touch-up, your results should last between
12 - 18 months for Microblading, and 18 - 24 months for Combo & Powder Brows.

Annual touch-ups will reinforce the shape & maintain your brows long term.

HOW WILL THEY LOOK IN A FEW YEARS?

If you decide to stop getting your annual touch-ups, your brows will gently fade into a soft shadow, and eventually will fade to nothing.

I'VE HAD MY BROWS DONE BEFORE, CAN I STILL BOOK WITH YOU?

We do offer Cover-Ups but on a case by case basis only.

We will request a clear photo of your brows to assess symmetry, shape, pigment retention & possible scarring to assess if you're a suitable candidate for a Cover-up, or we may recommend laser removal instead.
